5.1 How to Book

• Bookings can be made through our online reservation system on our website, by e-mail request at lyravistastaycrete@gmail.com , or through online travel agencies (OTAs).
• For direct bookings made through our website, the reservation is confirmed once 100% of the total rental amount is paid.
• For bookings made through online travel agencies, the payment and cancellation conditions are governed by the policies selected and accepted by the guest on the respective platform at the time of booking.

5.2 Payment Methods

• Payments are processed securely through our online booking platform and its payment provider
• Bank transfer to the host’s personal account
• All bank fees (sending/receiving) are borne by the guest
• For bookings made through online travel agencies, payment processing is handled according to the payment methods and procedures of the respective platform.

5.3 Cleaning Fee

• A one-time cleaning fee of €X is applied to each booking
• For direct bookings, this cleaning fee is non-refundable under all circumstances
• For bookings made through online travel agencies, the refundability of the cleaning fee depends on the cancellation policy applicable to the reservation on the respective platform.

6.1 Non-Refundable - Direct Bookings

• All payments—including rental amount, cleaning fee and enviromental (tourism) tax, are strictly non-refundable
• Once funds are transferred, the booking is final due to Greek tax declaration requirements (AADE)

6.2 No-Show - Direct Bookings

• Failure to arrive on the check-in date is treated as a completed stay
• No refund or date change will be issued for no-shows

6.3 Environmental (Tourism) Tax - Direct Bookings

• A tourism tax of €8 per night is included in your total (€2/night during the winter season)
• This tax is remitted directly to the Greek authorities and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

6.4 Online Travel Agency (OTA) Bookings

• For reservations made through online travel agencies, the cancellation and refund policies are determined by the policy selected by the guest at the time of booking on that platform.
• Any refunds, cancellations, or modifications follow the terms and conditions of the respective platform.

7.1 Maximum Occupancy

Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to six guests. Any attempt to accommodate additional persons beyond this limit constitutes a breach of contract and may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and removal from the property.

7.2 Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: after 16:00 p.m. - 00:00 a.m.
• Check-out: by 10:00 a.m.
• Early Check-in / Late Check-out: Subject to availability and may incur additional fees; please contact us in advance to discuss your needs

7.3 General Rules

• No parties or events
• Pets are not allowed under any circumstances
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property
• Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk; no lifeguard is on duty
• Children must be supervised at all times when using the pool
• Quiet hours: 22:00 p.m. –08:00 a.m.
• Loss or damage to the property may incur additional fees
• Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear
• Damage Deposit: An amount of €100 per person may be required upon arrival in cash (banknotes) as a damage deposit. This amount will be returned to the guests on the day of check-out, after the property has been inspected and no damages have occurred during the stay. Any deductible amount will be determined at the owner’s discretion based on the extent of the damage. If the deposit amount does not fully cover the damages, the guest will be required to pay the additional cost necessary to restore the property.
